- Industrial Adhesive TapesTransfer Tapes
Transfer tapes are rolls of pressure sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. When one adhesive side is applied to the back of a foam gasket, name plate or other surface, the adhesive grips immediately. The liner protects the other adhesive side until it is ready for use. A variety of adhesive properties are available including high tack, high temperature resistance, exceptional moisture or solvent resistance, and adhesion to low surface energy plastic.
Pronat maintains stock of many transfer tapes, a selection of these are shown below:

Marking Tapes
Vinyl and polyethylene tapes use either a vinyl or polyethylene backing for a variety of sealing and holding applications, with a durable “colour throughout” construction and an aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive that seals and bonds to most surfaces on contact. These tapes conform to irregular surfaces as would be expected for marking and identifying lanes, hazards and safety barriers round industrial equipment and construction sites.
Glass cloth tapes
Glass cloth tapes offer excellent abrasion resistance and mechanical properties, as well as high tensile strength and extreme temperature resistance. Service temperature ranges from -73°C to +260°C. Highly conformable and flexible, their exceptional tensile strength make these tapes ideal for banding and securing in numerous industrial situations.
Metal foil masking and protecting tapes
Metal foil masking tapes are available in copper and aluminum and reinforced aluminum backings. These highly conformable tapes are designed for many applications requiring moisture and chemical resistance, heat and light reflectance, flame resistance, and weatherability.
Protective tapes
This family of rugged cloth and vinyl tapes provides adhesion to most surfaces in a variety of environments, including moisture and UV. Specific tapes may be used in outdoor applications offering clean removal, for up to 6 months. Duct and cloth tapes provide dependable and exceptional performance for many sealing, masking, bundling, patching, reinforcing, repair and specialized applications.
Masking Adhesive Tapes
Flat backed and crepe masking tapes are used extensively to mask and protect surfaces during processing. These tapes are typically used for protection during paint spraying, resin dipping, sand blasting for industrial and consumer markets. These products offer good adhesion, line sharpness and clean removal.

In this simplified line, you will find a range of such characteristics as adhesive holding power, line sharpness, and clean removal to meet different application requirements for virtually every industrial and consumer application.
Fluoropolymer Tapes
These are high-temperature tapes used in applications requiring consistent performance and minimum shrinkage across a wide range of temperatures. They are extremely resistant to chemicals, have high arc resistance and are free of carbonizing materials.
Fluoroethylene propylene (FEP) is an ideal high performance film backed tape which has outstanding clarity as well as high service temperature.Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has tremendous lubricity, non-stick and high temperature capabilities. Adhesive types include silicone, rubber silicone free and acrylic.
PTFE Coated Glass Tape
Glass cloth substrates, in particular fiberglass, offer mechanical properties, high tensile strength, extreme temperature and abrasion resistance. Adding silicone rubber enhances the cloth properties to withstand thermal spray. Lamination of foils improves the mouldability and thermal sink properties for high temperature processes like plasma. Typical applications include chemical, pharmaceutical and food processing. These tapes are also used as the protective backing in hot knife cutting.
