High Temperature Rigid Laminates
These epoxy or polyester resin laminates, reinforced with glass fabric, are used extensively in the construction of switchgear, circuit breakers, control cabinets, and power transformers. Rigid laminates are produced to work up to 130°C, 155°C and 180°C conditions. Flame retardant grades are available by modifying the resin system. These products are widely used at elevated temperature, where very good mechanical stability and excellent electrical properties are required under high humidity applications.
